What's that?

Daddy: "So Josiah, what did you do today?"
Josiah: "I went to the preschool yelling!"
Daddy and Mommy to each other: "Huh?"

Over the next couple of days, Josiah continues to talk about the "preschool yelling". I keep scratching my head trying to figure out what he's talking about--where he got the phrase from. And then, one day it dawns on me...

Josiah: "Mommy? I went to the preschool yelling and got this certificate?"
Mommy: "Well, you got that at the preschool screening a couple of days ago."
Josiah: "Ya! That's what I'm talking about! The preschool yelling!"
Mommy: (lightbulb moment: OH! "screening" sounds like "screaming"; yelling is synonomous with screaming but easier for a 3-yr-old to say. OH! I get it!) *Chuckle*
